Agrivoltaics at the Snyder Farm
Designed to study hay production under single-axis tracker arrays. The rows of the solar array are oriented North-South and the modules track the sun from sunrise to sunset to increase energy collection and provide more uniform shading conditions.
The installation is a randomized, replicated, controlled experiment for evaluating and comparing two treatments:
- Single-row single-axis tracker array
- Control (open sky)
