SUMMARY:Site Tour at RAREC and Cook Animal Farm
DESCRIPTION:A site tour was coordinated by RAP member Ethan Schoolman to discuss the benefits and challanges faced with construction and implementation of agrivoltaics systems in New Jersey. Twenty two Attendees included members from Cornell University\, the New York Power Authority (NPA)\, the New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)\, and the American Farmland Trust (AFT). Thank you Ethan for deftly managing the group\, as well as the farm directors from RAREC\, Cook and Snyder Farms\, including Dan Ward\, Clint Burgher\, and Peter Nitzsche\, as well as extension specialist Andrew Wyenandt. Special thanks to Jared Buono\, Senior Research Associate at Cornell\, for providing the list of attendees for this event!
